Direct-to-film printing lays your artwork onto a clear carrier film backed with powdered adhesive. A heat press bonds it into the fabric, you peel the film away, and the ink stays in the garment. Nothing is hand-cut and no screens are burned, so a twelve-colour design takes exactly as long to produce as a one-colour one.
That is the reason we charge for film area instead of per design or per colour. A gang sheet is one large piece of film with as many designs packed onto it as will fit — thirty small logos or a single oversized back print cost the same when they take up the same room. Photographs, gradients, and fine linework carry no surcharge.
If you are collecting in person, two things are worth knowing before you drive over. You will need a heat press at your end, because a household iron cannot hold even temperature or pressure. And it is worth buying one small test sheet on an early visit to check colour and hand-feel against the exact garment you intend to use.
Brea retail and school-year ordering both tend to be seasonal, and film-area tiers accommodate that better than fixed minimums — you are not penalised for a quiet month. Resale certificates are processed through our tax exemption page and invoicing is available on account.
