Shop DTF Transfer Sheets for Heat-Press Apparel

A DTF transfer sheet is a single sheet of film carrying your printed artwork, powdered and cured, ready to press onto a garment. You buy the sheet, you press it, you are done.

Sheets are the right format when you want a fixed, predictable unit. One sheet, one known size, one price. That makes them easy to quote against a customer order and easy to stock ahead of a busy week. If you would rather fill a large sheet with many designs at once, the gang sheet builder is the cheaper route per design.

Everything here prints in-house at our Anaheim shop. Nothing is brokered to a third-party printer, which is why the same film and the same press profile apply to every order. Order before noon on a business day and it prints that day.

Sheet Sizes and What Garment Each One Fits

Our catalog print sizes run from 3 by 3 inches up to 14 by 14 inches, and each is sold against the garment it actually suits. 3 by 3 and 4 by 4 are pocket prints. 5 by 5 and 6 by 6 are infant. 7 by 7 covers toddler 2T and 3T. 8 by 8 is youth. From 9 by 9 up to 14 by 14 you are into adult small through adult 4XL.

Sizing by garment rather than by inches alone saves a reprint. A 10 by 10 that looks right on an adult medium reads as a billboard on a youth tee. If you are printing a size run for one design, order the sizes separately rather than pressing one size across the whole run.

How Sheets Are Priced

Pricing follows film area, not design count and not colour count. A full-colour photographic print costs the same as a one-colour logo at the same dimensions. There is no setup fee, no screen fee, and no colour-matching surcharge, because none of those steps exist in the DTF process.

That pricing model is why DTF suits short runs and one-offs. A single sheet costs what a single sheet costs. You are not amortising a screen across a minimum order, so a run of one is viable in a way it is not with screen printing.

Pressing a Transfer Sheet

Our film runs at 280 to 300°F, which is 138 to 149°C, at medium pressure of about 6 KG. For a hot peel, press 6 to 10 seconds then peel immediately from one corner straight across. For a cold peel, use the same temperature and let the sheet cool completely before lifting the liner.

Published supplier ranges vary quite a bit, and some list figures well above ours. Follow the spec for the film you actually bought rather than a number from a general guide. On polyester and heat-sensitive synthetics, stay at the low end of our range and test one piece first, because heat is what causes scorching and dye migration.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a DTF transfer sheet and a gang sheet?

A transfer sheet carries one design at a fixed size. A gang sheet is a larger sheet of film, 22 by 30 or 22 by 60 inches, that you fill with many designs arranged together. Gang sheets cost less per design because you are paying for film area you have packed efficiently.

Do DTF transfer sheets work on cotton and polyester?

Yes, both, plus blends. Cotton is the most forgiving. On polyester, stay at the low end of 280 to 300°F and shorten the dwell, then test a single garment before committing the run, because polyester dyes can migrate under heat.

How long do the sheets keep before I press them?

Store them flat, out of direct sunlight, and away from humidity. Cured DTF film is stable and does not need refrigeration or a sealed bag. Do not stack heavy objects on them, since pressure and warmth together can make the adhesive powder tack to the sheet above.

Is there a minimum order?

No. You can order a single sheet. Free shipping applies on orders over $75, and if you are local you can collect from the Anaheim shop during the pickup window, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm.
